In 2010 Joe established his annual Joe Carter Classic golf tournament to support the Children’s Aid Foundation.

The 2nd Annual Joe Carter Classic Golf Tournament was held on June 29th, 2011, at Eagles Nest Golf Club in Maple, Ontario. This annual charity golf tournament involved over 20 top name celebrities, including stars from the world of sports and entertainment. Proceeds from the event benefited The Children’s Aid Foundation.

Carter was named to five All-Star teams. In his career he hit 396 home runs and drove in 1445 runs. 93 World Series Winning Homerun

In Game 6 of the 1993 World Series, Carter came to bat with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning with the Blue Jays trailing 6–5 and Rickey Henderson and Paul Molitor on base. On a 2–2 count, Carter hit a three-run walk-off home run off Phillies pitcher Mitch Williams (against whom he was 0–4 career) to win the World Series!
